Salon Policies

Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged 50% of the cost of services scheduled. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled BEFORE 24 hours from your appointment time will not be charged a cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations will only be accepted through text communication or direct Vagaro cancellations. Voicemail cancellations will not be accepted as received and may be subject to a cancellation fee.


Salon/Stylist Communication

  • Studio Process Hair Salon is a text & online booking ONLY salon (2673370001 or www.vagaro.com/studioprocess. Please note, if you call the salon phone number and leave a voicemail, you will NOT receive a response.

  • If you need to schedule, reschedule, or cancel an appointment, please text (267)3370001 (text messages will be responded to at the discretion of your stylist - 24-48 hour typical response time) OR utilize 24 hour access to the online booking option - www.vagaro.com/studioprocess (or use any of the various ‘Booking’ buttons on this website). If you opt to book online, your appointment will go through as a REQUEST. Your appointment time will be immediately reserved and your stylist will review your request, then approve, deny, or edit your appointment request. IMPORTANT - make sure to click "Request” at the end of your selection through Vagaro. It will lead to a confirmation page saying your appointment has been requested. If you do not see this confirmation page, your appointment has not been requested and time has not been saved for the selected appointment time.

Parking & Finding the Salon

  • The salon is in the front of a multi-unit building. A single-lane driveway leads to a free parking lot for guests while at Studio Process Hair Salon. Once you’ve parked you can walk up the driveway. The salon’s door is the closest to the street on the driveway side of the building. The door handle IS heavy. If you’re unsure if it’s locked, please knock and I will come for you!

Appointment Timing

  • Balayage/highlighting appointment times range from 3-5 hours. If you are concerned about the length of time you will be in the salon, text the salon phone number (2673370001) to speak with your stylist.

  • All appointments will start AT the confirmed appointment time. Appointments will almost never start earlier unless you’ve been contacted by your stylist stating otherwise. This means, if you arrive at the salon before your appointment is scheduled to start, wait in your car until the specified start time.

  • Should you be running late for your scheduled appointment time, text the salon phone number (2673370001) with an estimated ETA. Please be advised, if any later than 15 minutes, your appointment may be cancelled resulting in a late cancellation charge.

Appointment Preparation

  • For ALL color, balayage, & highlighting appointments, we ask that you arrive with hair shampooed at least 1-2 days prior to your appointment. Hair that is coated in styling product, sweat, and/or natural oils may prohibit the product from penetrating the hair, causing uneven or unnoticeable results.

    • If the hair is TOO dirty, the scheduled color services may not be able to be performed. This could result in a forfeited appointment as well as a late cancellation charge.

  • When receiving balayage or lightening services, try not to come with your hair in a tight ponytail or bun. Ideally, you should arrive with your hair how you might typically wear it. This way your stylist can create a customized color based off your individual needs.

  • Collars and hoods create a barrier for the haircut and/or color service making it difficult to perform correctly. Therefore, be prepared to remove hoodies or stiff collared tops by wearing an under shirt under said collars and hoods.

Child Policy

Additional Service Charges

Due to the complexity of haircutting, hair lightening & hair coloring services, there may an additional product or time charge added to prebooked services. This is something your stylist will discuss with you during your consultation. If you would like to discuss cost of service and consult BEFORE your appointment, TEXT 2673370001 or utilize the ‘Text’ buttons at the top or bottom of this page. Your stylist will respond directly to your text (24-48 hours possible). Be prepared to send photos of your current hair in NATURAL light (three feet back from a well lit window), hair history of the last 5 years, and inspiration pictures from your stylist’s instagram page (@studioprocess_ or @krystallynpress). This will help your stylist come up with a plan before you come in. Unexpected product/time charges may be a factor, but the estimate will be MUCH closer with a pre-consult.

Studio Process Hair Salon does offer haircuts for children (labeled as “Child’s Haircut” in the service menu - $45 for children under age 11). This service does not include shampooing or blow drying. These services can be added to the haircut upon request. An “extra time” charge will be added for additional services.

For the safety of your child and the quality of the service, children are not permitted to accompany you to your hair appointment. Exceptions may be made if they are also receiving a haircut, however this is not a guarantee. If childcare can not be arranged for your appointment, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
